Park and Travel Itinerary Updates: Don't Miss This if Traveling in 2023

The Official Kick-Off for the 2023 Travel Season has Begun

by Cheryl

The only constant is change and our national parks are no different. Between natural disasters, fluctuations in tourism, and vehicle reservation systems, a trip to the national parks is a bit more complex than throwing your tent in the car and hitting the road.

Matt and I started writing itineraries to the parks in the West in 2020 and have since been part of helping thousands of people experience their dream trips.

Even though we are proud of the first version of each of our itineraries and did our best to keep the concepts evergreen (you know- good for a long time) we’ve found the need to update them.

As more parks switch to a reservation system or just as we travel more and have new experiences, we want to make sure that our itineraries have the latest information that will help you have the best trip.

When you purchase an itinerary, you have the option to create an account. Your account will store all your guides and they will be automatically updated for 18 months.

If you’ve already purchased a guide but didn’t create an account, no problem.

  1. Go to wereintherockies.com > Account > On the right-hand side under Register, pick a Username, input your email address (the one you made the past purchase with), and pick a password > Click Register.
  2. You will see a screen that says “Welcome! Your previous order has been linked to this account”. There will be several options at that point, some of which include View Order, Downloads, Orders, Payment Methods, etc.

Or….. just email us. Becca, our wonderful assistant, will help you out 😉

Fail to Plan and You Plan to Fail by Cheryl This past October, my grandpa turned 90! Family from all over the world (Hungary, Mexico, Germany, and of course the United States) flew into Texas to celebrate this special time. It was the end of the travel season. I was burnt out from planning trips and outlining videos. I even bought my plane ticket with my personal credit card so I had no pressure to do anything YouTube related. This was a trip all about spending time with family, right? The...

Hell's Revenge... I'm still not sure how I feel about it. by Cheryl Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are known for their stunning arches, bridges and unique red rock formations. But did you know that the surrounding area is world famous for its jeep and ATV trails? Since we travel with our children, we are always trying to mix in some adventure with the sightseeing so Matt booked us a jeep tour. Little did we know that we would be cruising around with Dan Mick, the "Mayor of Slick Rock."...
