The West is known for the desert, red rocks, cacti, and stunning canyons. We think of the sun beating upon the landscape but we rarely envision the West at night, where the worlds darkest skies reveal the galaxy above.

In the past year, we were able to visit Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef National Parks and view some of the darkest night skies in the world. Each of these parks offer free ranger-led star programs that will leave you in awe after seeing the stars the way they are meant to be seen.
