Mid May, 2020, people began to wonder if the most famous brown bear in the world, Grizzly 399, would emerge from her den. She was 23 years old, far outliving her life expectancy.
To everyones surprise and delight, she emerged..... with 4 cubs. This year, Grizzly 399 and crew are out of hibernation meandering through the Grand Teton area.
Grizzly 399 is famous because unlike most bears, she prefers to live near humans and can often be seen from the road. It is suspected she does this to protect her cubs from male grizzlies. Grizzly 399 is a mother and grandmother to 20 cubs. She is followed by 40 photographers and has her own Instagram and Facebook account.
Happy Mother's Day to one of the best mothers in nature. Grizzly 399. Learn more about her on our video: Queen of the Teton's: Grizzly 399

Fail to Plan and You Plan to Fail by Cheryl This past October, my grandpa turned 90! Family from all over the world (Hungary, Mexico, Germany, and of course the United States) flew into Texas to celebrate this special time. It was the end of the travel season. I was burnt out from planning trips and outlining videos. I even bought my plane ticket with my personal credit card so I had no pressure to do anything YouTube related. This was a trip all about spending time with family, right? The...
The Official Kick-Off for the 2023 Travel Season has Begun by Cheryl The only constant is change and our national parks are no different. Between natural disasters, fluctuations in tourism, and vehicle reservation systems, a trip to the national parks is a bit more complex than throwing your tent in the car and hitting the road. Matt and I started writing itineraries to the parks in the West in 2020 and have since been part of helping thousands of people experience their dream trips. Even...
