Foolish (and Funny) Behavior in Yellowstone

by Cheryl

To be honest, I enjoy watching animals in Yellowstone. But if I want to some real entertainment, I like to watch PEOPLE watching animals in Yellowstone.

Yellowstone is the perfect combination of nature, animals, canyons, and geothermal features to tempt tourists to do some pretty stupid things and keep those hard working rangers busy trying to keep everyone safe.

For a little smile this "Foolish" time of year, here are a couple of my favorite headlines of Stupid Yellowstone behavior.

  • 2 men serve jail time for cooking raw chicken in Geyser at Yellowstone
  • Drone flown into Grand Prismatic Spring
  • Man arrested for peeing into Old Faithful Geyser

For the complete story on each of these, plus 7 more, check out our YouTube video here.

Foolishness in Zion

Zion is the scariest place to watch people....... take photos. I once witnessed a man doing a hand stand on the edge of Angel's Landing for a photo. Click here to see the video of it.

Fail to Plan and You Plan to Fail by Cheryl This past October, my grandpa turned 90! Family from all over the world (Hungary, Mexico, Germany, and of course the United States) flew into Texas to celebrate this special time. It was the end of the travel season. I was burnt out from planning trips and outlining videos. I even bought my plane ticket with my personal credit card so I had no pressure to do anything YouTube related. This was a trip all about spending time with family, right? The...

The Official Kick-Off for the 2023 Travel Season has Begun by Cheryl The only constant is change and our national parks are no different. Between natural disasters, fluctuations in tourism, and vehicle reservation systems, a trip to the national parks is a bit more complex than throwing your tent in the car and hitting the road. Matt and I started writing itineraries to the parks in the West in 2020 and have since been part of helping thousands of people experience their dream trips. Even...
